As the author of It's the Fed, Stupid and a full-throated endorser of Ron Paul's call to "End the Fed," it's probably hard to imagine me rooting for the Federal Reserve. But that's just what we all should be doing, says Tom Luongo on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom.

 

Tom has long maintained there is more going on at the Fed than simple Keynesian policy-setting. He says Jerome Powell and the interests he represents want to free the U.S. banking system from European control and the Davos agenda.

 

Now, I am very much an Occam's Razor kind of guy. And as I've said before, thanks to the unusual things I've done for a living over the years, I've Forrest Gumped my way into situations no one would believe some guy from Buffalo would ever find himself in. And every time, the motivations and goals of the so-called masters of the universe have turned out to be so mundane and short-sighted that even I have been prompted to think, "Really? That's all this is about?"

 

So, I'm naturally inclined to look for a simpler explanation for the actions of bureaucrats than what Tom and I discuss on today's episode. But here's another thing I've observed (and I'm probably not alone) about the people who populate government agencies. They're turfy. And in the case of the Fed, they absolutely do have people behind them who think strategically and know how to hang on to what they've got.

 

I'm not talking about the Board of Governors of the Fed or any other gaggle of pointy-headed academics. I'm talking about the owners of the Fed. Tom argues they aren't about to hand over the wealth and power they possess to the cartoonish Klaus Schwab and his commie coven.

 

And what "Davos" has in mind for the rest of us is neither a conspiracy theory nor a secret. I provide ample links to what these people are up to on the show notes page of today's episode.
