We talk a lot of freedom on Tom Mullen Talks Freedom, but how do we get to a free society? My guest on today's episode of the podcast, Pete Quinones, thinks libertarians are going about it all wrong.
He's interested in the same things libertarians are - liberty, free markets, private property - but no longer thinks simply standing on principle is going to get it done.
I was very pleased to get a chance to speak with Pete, host of his own successful podcast, The Pete Quinones Show, and throw out a few challenges to his positions to see how he would respond. While I don't agree with all his answers, we agree on the most practical way forward, even if we get there by different routes.
There are links to Pete's podcast, substack, and social media on the show notes page.
On either Wednesday or Friday of this week, I'll have Jim Ostrowski back to talk about his new book, Save the Children.
Speaking of books, if you haven't already, download a free e-book copy of It’s the Fed, Stupid here.
It’s also available in paperback here. It’s priced at a pre-hyperinflation level so grab a few copies for friends if you can.
It makes a great introduction to the government’s most economically damaging institution for liberals, conservatives, libertarians, socialists, and independents alike.
It also helps me keep the lights on here so I can continue to bring you great content.
