"Cartoonish" is the only word I can come up with for the U.S. media's "coverage" of the war in Ukraine. Unlikely reports of atrocities by Russia (bombing a maternity hospital, etc.) are given full-throated endorsement by the media faster than they can be debunked.
Of course, we shouldn't believe everything we hear from the Russian side of this conflict, either. The Russian government is at war and every government at war engages in propaganda.
So how do we figure out what to believe and what not to believe?
Gilbert Doctorow lived and worked in Russia for twenty-five years and is in a unique position to observe both the U.S. media and Russian media coverage of the war and draw on his experience to sort it out.
He joins me on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom to shed some light. If you're frustrated with the uncritical narrative you've been force fed on this unfortunate situation, you won't want to miss this one!
If you haven't already, download a free e-book copy of It’s the Fed, Stupid here.
It’s also available in paperback here. It’s priced at a pre-hyperinflation level so grab a few copies for friends if you can.
It makes a great introduction to the government’s most economically damaging institution for liberals, conservatives, libertarians, socialists, and independents alike.
It also helps me keep the lights on here so I can continue to bring you great content.
