Let's face it, we live in an information-saturated world where control of information can literally control the minds of millions of people. If you want proof of that, simply scan social media platforms for the number of Ukrainian flags in profile pictures or other overt "I stand with Ukraine" statements.
There's nothing wrong with sympathizing with Ukrainians. They are truly the pawns sacrificed in this proxy war between Russia and the DC Empire. But do you really believe that if this event thousands of miles from our shores were reported dispassionately by some unicorn "free press," millions of Americans would care this much?
Consider how bizarre it is to frame one's profile picture with confidential medical information. Yet, that's what tens of millions of Americans did after receiving the Covid vaccination. I know this is "virtue signaling," but to whom? What is the person going to the trouble of setting up this image thinking as they do it?
Answer: They're thinking what somebody wants them to think.
I don't know about you, but I have a sense that it wasn't always this bad, that people had more skepticism of "the man" than they apparently do today. This is just one of the questions I asked my guest on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom, Mark Crispin Miller.
Mark taught a course on propaganda at NYU for over twenty years. That came to an end when he suggested to his students that they should look into the research concerning the efficacy of facemasks in mitigating the spread of respiratory viruses. In his words, one student became so "enraged" that she launched a Twitter campaign to get him fired.
He wasn't fired, but the propaganda course is no more.
Like all heroes in this war, Mark didn't apologize or modify his views. He doubled down. He's battling Ukraine propaganda and Covid propaganda every day on his substack. Check out my conversation with him here.
Here is something else the tyrants want you to think: The prices of food, gas, and everything else you need is going up because of greedy business owners, "supply chain disruptions," or Vladimir Putin. Not
true.
Rising prices remain always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon, caused by one institution and one institution only: The Federal Reserve System.
If you haven't already, download a free copy of my book, It’s the Fed, Stupid here.
It’s also available in paperback here. It’s priced at a pre-hyperinflation level so grab a few copies for friends if you can.
It makes a great introduction to the government’s most economically damaging institution for liberals, conservatives, libertarians, socialists, and independents alike.
It also helps me keep the lights on here so I can continue to bring you great content.
