I wasn't able to record a Monday episode this week, so I decided to do a follow-up to Wednesday's episode about the invasion of Ukraine, especially the propaganda related to it. If you haven't heard Wednesday's episode, check it out here.
Thankfully, President Biden seems fully committed to not engaging the Russians militarily over this, as does the rest of NATO. As I've said for many years, conventional war between nuclear powers is not a possibility without risking an extinction level event.
But that raises a question: Why does the United States spend more than the next 10 countries combined on conventional military? What good are 50,000 troops in Germany if they'll never be used against Russia anyway (even if it were our responsibility to defend Europe)?
I talk about that on today's special Thursday episode here. This is one you don't want to miss because the media will be telling you to draw precisely the opposite conclusion from the Ukraine conflict from the one you should draw.
I'm happy to say the audience is still growing, but I can really use your help in referring as many people as you can. Please consider forwarding this e-mail to any friends you think may be interested or sharing a link to the podcast.
If you haven't already, download a free copy of my book, It’s the Fed, Stupid, here.
It’s also available in paperback here. It’s priced at a pre-hyperinflation level so grab a few copies for friends if you can.
It makes a great introduction to the government’s most economically damaging institution for liberals, conservatives, libertarians, socialists, and independents alike.
It also helps me keep the lights on here so I can continue to bring you great content.
