The Trump administration has maintained the U.S. military has been wildly successful in the opening days of the Iran War. It claims to have destroyed 80%-90% of Iran’s missile capabilities and is close to
victory.
The war’s critics paint precisely the opposite picture. They claim U.S. bases in the region have been largely destroyed or rendered inoperable and the U.S. is close to running out of defensive missiles.
Trump says the U.S. will accept nothing short of unconditional surrender (while Speaker Johnson says we're not even really at war) while Iran says it is not even interested in
negotiating anymore.
The war's critics claim U.S. bases in the region have been either destroyed or rendered inoperable, resulting in the U.S. needing to go all the way to India to refuel and rearm it's ships. The administration says there has been some damage buy all bases remain operable.
They say the first casualty of war is the truth and this war is certainly no
exception. But never before have the two stories of what has already happened been this different.
Which story is true? Both? Netiher? I try to sort it out on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom.
