Every once in a while, you have to take one for the team. I did that on Wednesday evening - I watched President Trump's "address" to the nation so you wouldn't have to.
Similar to a weeknight address he gave last year, this one was built up as if a significant announcement were going to be made, this time regarding the Iran War. But Trump didn't say anything we haven't heard repeatedly from him over the past two weeks.
The war will be over soon. The U.S. has won. Iran is defeated like no country has ever been defeated in military history. It's all because of
me....
Frankly, now that Trump has broken every good promise he made, keeping all the bad ones per Horton's law of elections, listening to his self-congratulatory babbling has become exhausting. It's going to be a long three years.
Of course, the key questions remain unanswered:
How will the U.S. end the
war if Iran and/or Israel don't agree to end it?
In what way has the U.S. won if Khameni's son is now in power, the regime structure hasn't changed, Iran's missile capabilities remain intact, and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed?
I break all of this down on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom.
P.S. I have some ideas on where all this is heading from a global standpoint that I will have time to get down on paper this weekend. Watch my Substack for a new article on Saturday.
