Three days into his second extension of the 48-hour deadline set on March 21 for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, the strait is still closed, Trump continues to claim he is close to a deal, but Iran
says U.S. proposals received through intermediaries are ‘unrealistic.’
This morning Trump wrote this extraordinary Truth Social post.
The "new" regime is more
reasonable, great progress has been made, but we may also have to destroy Iran's energy and desalinization facilities and devastate their population indefinitely.
Trump is flailing because there is no way out of this.
He keeps barking at the empire's so-called "allies" (viz. "vassals") but what precisely could any or all of them do that the U.S. military cannot do
alone? I can't think of anything. Apparently, neither can they.
If Trump simply declares victory and walks away, what happens when Israel or Iran or both keep fighting? Israel loses that conflict without the U.S. and that will not be allowed to occur.
Neither can Trump follow through on his threat without devastating his own country. If he bombs Iran's
energy and desalization infrastructure, Iran will do likewise to the Gulf states and world energy supply will be indefinitely reduced by a signficant percentage.
There seems to be only one way out of this debacle and the empire isn't going to like it. I break down this and more on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom.
