I've told you before that 2024 marked the end of my 40-year perfect voting record. Until last November, I had never voted for a Republican or a Democrat in a presidential election. That means I had never voted for any
candidate who went on to win.
I was literally blameless.
Well, if my guest on today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom had won the nomination, my perfect record would still be intact.
Jacob G. Hornberger is founder and president of The Future of Freedom Foundation. He was a trial attorney for twelve years and has
advanced freedom and free markets on talk-radio stations all across the country as well as on Fox News’ Neil Cavuto and Greta van Susteren shows and he appeared as a regular commentator on Judge Andrew Napolitano’s show Freedom Watch.
He joined me today to talk about yet another outrageous prosecution by the federal government (as if there were another kind). I am talking about Ian Freeman, popular radio host and Bitcoin pioneer. Ian was
one of the first people to start a business based on Bitcoin in the previous decade and was very successful.
Of course, the government didn't like that. So, they tried to entrap him into a fake money laundering scheme and failed. Ian refused to take the bait. Then, they prosecuted him anyway.
In a prosecution as wrongful as that against Ross Ulbricht or Trump himself, the government
cooked up phony charges, lied to the media to poison the jury, and managed to get a conviction against an innocent man. It's very obvious this was all based on Ian's libertarian views and his adoption of Bitcoin at a time when the government was trying to kill the cryptocurrency in its crib.
Jacob Hornberger believes Ian Freeman should be Trump's next pardon. So do I. Find out why below.
