The story of the Plymouth Colony contains an important lesson that most Americans never learned because what we’re taught about the Pilgrims is fraught with distortions, omissions and outright lies. 

But it isn't just the Pilgrims. There were over one hundred other attempts at establishing socialism throughout American history that all ended the same way. Why have none of us ever been taught about any of them in school?
