It takes a lot to shock me these days and I admit it. I'm shocked.

There is nothing about Donald Trump's victory in Tuesday's presidential election that isn't shocking.

Whatever you think of Trump personally or politically, one cannot deny how incredible it is that anyone could walk through the fire he walked through and come out on the other side President of the United States. 

Trump literally fought an empire singlehandedly and won. 

The normalcy with which the national media who excoriated him as Hitler incarnate is also quite curious as are many other aspects of this momentous event.
