If you're on this distribution list you're probably more inclined to free market ideas than socialist ones. That means you probably see through the silly idea that an employer is "exploiting" his workers by paying them more than anyone else is willing to pay them or than they can make on their own.
If they could make more any other way, they'd do it.
What surprises me, though, is how willing even free market proponents are to accept this same argument when it comes to rock stars making millions of dollars. Somehow, all the same Marxist arguments about "the workers" make sense for people flying on private jets and living in mansions.
I break down how even sillier Marx's arguments are when it comes to rock stars in today's episode of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom.
There is also links to very important information on the show notes page. :)
A special thanks and welcome aboard to all the new supporters of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom.
If you somehow can still believe that rock stars with their rather unremarkable songs are exploited by being paid millions of dollars for them, then what would you say about paying a writer $5 for thousands of words per month?
Well, you have an opportunity to do just that by becoming a supporter of Tom Mullen Talks Freedom. And believe me, the writer just can't wait for you to start
exploiting him. He likes it.
Thank you to all who have become supporters already. Frankly, I never thought the response would be this good. Have a great weekend!
Tom
